History

IP Systems started in a garage in early 2002 on the premise that a few good ideas could turn into a solution that would eventually save lives. The idea of formulating and distributing data in a geospatial format developed. In August 2005 Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast of the United States. IP Systems used RDACg™ in its primitive state to respond to the State of Mississippi’s request for support in their state Emergency Operations Center (EOC) located in Jackson, Mississippi.

Upon returning to Virginia, IP Systems was invited to participate in Joint Experimentation and Joint Exercises at the United States Joint Forces Command (JFCOM). Among the many experiments were Demo America, Noble Resolve and the Modeling and Simulation Exposition where we received local and international media exposure. In January 2007 IP Systems joined the Earl Technology Group and became IP Systems International where we vastly enhanced our corporate structure and expanded out into the modeling, simulation and gaming arena.

In October 2008 we signed a teaming agreement with General Dynamics Information Technology and released version 1 of the RDAC Engine™/RDACE™. In early 2009 we filed patents regarding the ®RDAC analytics.

The exposure we received while demoing our geospatial capabilities also provided us with a venue to showcase our 3D modeling capabilities. The models used to enhance the reality of our virtual environments earned us another marketing venue. In June 2009 we signed a teaming agreement with L3 Communications to create high fidelity models for their security solutions.

Currently we are in preparation for the release RDACg™ in summer of 2009.
